Gafar Ojedapo reports

The FIBSA executive President Dimeji Ogunjobi and the Senate President Soji Ogunlowo, have reacted to the serial allegations made against the association by its Pioneer President, Olawuyi Taiwo popularly known as Banabas.

The President described the various allegations as derogatory and totally untrue.

The Pioneer President had earlier accused the association of lacking discipline and protocol, full of conspiracies and eye services.

FIBSA Lacks Discipline, Full of Conspiracies and Eye Services- BANABAS

In a chat with IDEREUPDATE, Ogunjobi said it was disappointing to have received such statements from the association’s first ever president, despite his position as the association’s great stakeholder and leader.

He explained that while the association is always appreciative of Barnabas connections for the success of the administration they have to “look for a way of escaping probable challenges his principled exit from the platform might pose on us afterwards”.

“It is admitted that the association does not have a constitution that guides its operation and activities since its establishment, the executive under my leadership and the Senate have been struggling to draft a constitution which would govern our activities in a manner that the association should effectively operate.” He added

In the meantime, The Senate President, Com Soji Ogunlowo, while reacting to the allegations, said the constitution adoption was not supposed to be generating chaos at all, for during sittings, towns were represented as well as observers.

“Barnabas is still a leader of FIBSA and would always be, it is right though to some extent the way he was addressed in the group”. He added

He enjoined FIBSAITES not to be panick-stricken as the association believes this communal issue will be resolved and everyone figured ultimately.
